The SAA Historically Underrepresented Groups Scholarship (HUGS) supports field school participation and is now accepting applications. HUGS aims to increase the number of under-represented minorities obtaining degrees in archaeology. The scholarship is overseen by the Minority Scholarships Committee of the SAA.
