Touro University – California (TUC), located on historic Mare Island in the northern San Francisco Bay Area, is accepting applications for a full-time, 1-year anatomy education postdoc with possibility for renewal for at least a second year (https://tu.edu/programs/osteopathic-medicine/). Applicants must have a terminal degree (Ph.D., D.O., M.D., D.P.T. or dual degree) or have completed all the requirements for their degree no later than the date of appointment. We are seeking a person with a substantial interest in medical education and experience teaching human gross anatomy in a dissection-based course. Additional experience in teaching clinically relevant embryology, and/or in developing technology to augment learning is preferred but not required. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop publishable scholarship in their own biological field and/or in medical education while working with a talented team of departmental instructors in new state-of-the-art educational facilities. Teaching responsibilities will be centered on team-taught gross anatomy for the College of Osteopathic Medicine and for the Master of Science in Medical Health Science program while helping to advance the educational mission of the Department of Foundational Biomedical Science and interdisciplinary educational initiatives in the College of Osteopathic Medicine.

The minimum salary for this position will be $66,560 per year.
