The Central Michigan University College of Medicine (CMED) is seeking to hire a full-time (12-month) Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of Anatomy to join our Foundational Sciences Department faculty to teach Anatomy as part of our integrated curriculum design. The position is open track (either non-tenure or tenure-track) and rank; Assistant, Associate, and Professor rank will be considered depending on credentials.

The successful candidate will work closely with two anatomy faculty members to coordinate lab content as part of a cross-disciplinary and inquiry-based medical school curriculum that includes case-based and team-based learning. Duties include working collaboratively to prepare cadaveric prosections and student lab activities, instructing students in weekly lab sessions and participating in multidisciplinary facilitation of group sessions and/or lectures.

Scholarly activities will be appropriate to the track. For non-tenure track, this is primarily a teaching position with expectations for some scholarly activity and committee service. A tenure-track successful candidate is expected to have a promising research program that would support seeking external funding opportunities, in addition to teaching and service.
