Students applying to the Koobi Fora Field School by APRIL 8, 2016 have the opportunity to apply for a prestigious NSF International Research Experience for Students fellowship. This fellowship provides funds to cover the cost of the field school and a paid stipend. Fellowship students are required to complete an additional 3 week online course prior to the start of the field school, and participate in a 2-day research workshop in Fall 2016.

The Koobi Fora Field School runs from June 11-July 23, 2016. Applications for the NSF International Research Experience for Students fellowship are due April 8, but other applications will continue to be accepted until April 18.
