The AAPA and the Committee on Diversity Women’s Initiative (COD-WIN) are pleased to offer the Family Care Award to assist early career women scholars in physical anthropology who are caring for a dependent family member (child or elder care) at home. This award provides financial support (maximum $600 per award) to defray some of the costs of traveling with dependents, or of extra care at home, while traveling to attend the 2016 annual AAPA meeting in Atlanta Georgia.
