Are you looking for a primate field school this winter?

I am instructing a two-week Primate Behavior and Ecology field school through Maderas Rainforest Conservancy in Ometepe, Nicaragua. This session still has space available for students:

Winter session: December 27, 2015 (fly in) to January 10, 2016 (fly out)

Ometepe is home to mantled howler monkeys and white-faced capuchin monkeys. Students will spend mornings observing and collecting data on monkeys in the tropical dry forest, and afternoons attending daily lectures, and working on assignments. The course will culminate with independent projects on mantled howler monkey behaviour. You will learn a great deal about primates in a short time. This course is excellent preparation for graduate work in primatology, and a great way to gain field experience with wild primates.

Cost: $2095 USD for course tuition, meals, lodging, and transportation within Nicaragua. Airfare is an additional cost. For more information and to apply, visit http://maderasrfc.org or contact Dr. Laura Bolt at [email protected]
