The 2018 AAPA Plenary Lecture will be given by Tony Di Fiore (University of Texas, Austin) and is entitled In the House of the Piranha: Twenty-Five Years of Field Research in the Ecuadorian Rainforest.

Come an hear Tony, one of our Local Arrangements hosts, talk about his long term primatological field research in the Ecuadorian Rainforest. His talk will review some of the insights gleaned  and highlight important questions that remain. He will also share some of the challenges and rewards associated with doing fieldwork in the remote Amazon, the importance of collaborative and comparative work, and the special pleasure of working with platyrrhines.
