During the 86th annual meeting, AAPA joined with the New Orleans March for Science to celebrate our passion for rigorous, non-partisan, evidence-based science. The New Orleans organizers included our members as speakers in the pre-march program and re-routed the March course to end back at the AAPA meetings hotel (where we all returned to afternoon science sessions!). We are especially grateful to local organizer Siobhain McGuinness for her outstanding leadership of the march and forensic anthropologist Gina Hart who liaised with our speakers.

Xavier Hamilton and Natalia Reagan, who were at AAPA filming the COD IDEAS program, filmed at the march as well. Thanks to them, you can watch March for Science speaker videos of Agustín Fuentes and Susan Antón on the AAPA youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCNJwd-YXBLwgz9K3zx__Bxw/videos?shelf_id=0&view=0&sort=dd Science serves the common good. We celebrate this mission and these goals. Lets do more science!
