University of Kent, UK: multiple permanent posts in Biological Anthropology

The School of Anthropology and Conservation at the University of Kent, UK, is seeking to appoint 2 Lecturers and one Senior Lecturer with strong and developing research profiles as well as university-level teaching experience. These are permanent and ongoing posts equivalent to Assistant and Associate Professor ranks, respectively.

 

The post holders will be expected to carry out leading-edge research in their particular specialism(s), teach both undergraduate and postgraduate modules (courses) in their area of specialization, and undertake their share of academic administrative work (service) within the School.

While we will consider all applicants on their merits, we are particularly interested in applicants with a specialism in hominin evolution and behaviour. We are also interested in applicants with specialisms in (a) biological aspects of forensic science (to include casework, field recovery and legal frameworks); (b) primate morphology or endocrinology; and (c) human adaptation and variation (e.g. human biology, epidemiology).

Salary range: £31,644 - £53,765 per annum
