We seek enthusiastic candidates with a broad based knowledge in the biomedical sciences, and its application to improved patient care. Interest or experience in teaching evidence-based practice will be viewed favorably. Applicants are expected to have a demonstrated commitment to achieving excellence in teaching, scholarship and service. Current research strengths in the department include craniofacial biology, mineralized tissues, bioengineering, pain and inflammation. (http://bcd.tamhsc.edu/education/bms/index.html ). Innovation and scholarship in teaching and learning – educational research – is also highly valued within the department. Collaboration in at least one of these areas will be expected.
