The Department of Anthropology at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey, is collecting CVs for a one-year visiting instructor position in prehistoric archaeology and archaeozoology in New Brunswick, New Jersey, for the 2014-2015 academic year, contingent on funding. The candidate will teach five semester-long courses on topics, including Faunal analysis, Introduction to archaeology, European archaeology, Post Pleistocene hominid adaptations, and North American archaeology.


ABD candidates will be considered, but candidates holding a Ph.D. are preferred. Given the uncertain nature of this position, please send only a cover letter and a curriculum vitae.
