Postdoc: phenome-genome studies of the vervet monkey
A two to three year postdoctoral fellowship is available in an NIH-funded international collaborative project focused on phenome-genome studies of the vervet monkey. Must have a strong background in primatology or a related discipline.
Of particular interest are individuals with expertise in biological sample collection, behavioral observation and assessment and/or primate medicine and welfare. Based in the Center for Neurobehavioral Genetics at UCLA, the position will require travel to Africa and the Caribbean, and involve coordination of the efforts of a large interdisciplinary research team.
