Ohio University Post-Doctoral Position in Comparative Experimental Biomechanics
Ohio University, located in Athens, OH, seeks a motivated & experienced Post-Doctoral Associate to engage in collaborative and independent research on musculoskeletal biomechanics in mammals. Qualified candidates will have a PhD in biology or related discipline with an emphasis in comparative experimental biomechanics of non-human vertebrate feeding and/or terrestrial locomotion.
The candidate should have expertise in 3D kinematic (especially using high speed video or cinefluoroscopy), electromyography, bone strain, sonomicrometry, respirometry and/or force plate data collection and analysis. Candidates must have experience with Matlab. Experience with Labview and Amira is a plus.
