Northeast Ohio Medical University Educator Department of Anatomy and Neurobiology

The Department of Anatomy and Neurobiology of the Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED) seeks a full-time educator to teach anatomy-related topics to medical and pharmacy students. The successful candidate will develop lectures and electronic course material in microscopic anatomy and other anatomy-related subjects throughout the health professions curricula, participate in microscopic and gross anatomy laboratory instruction, maintain regular office hours, and contribute to examination preparation and grading. Over the long term, it is expected that the Educator will assume some course leadership duties.

The successful candidate must have a Ph.D. in a related field or an M.D., and a minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in anatomy. Ability to teach in microscopic anatomy is essential, experience in gross anatomy is a strong positive, and experience in neuroanatomy is a positive. The level (Assistant/Associate Professor) and type of appointment (tenure-track or non-tenured) will depend on the candidate’s experience and career goals.
