NEW YORK UNIVERSITY Tenure-Track Position in Biological Anthropology
The Department of Anthropology, Arts and Science, invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level to start September 1, 2011, pending administrative and budgetary approval. The department is looking for scholars with outstanding records in teaching and research in biological anthropology specializing in primate behavioral ecology.
An active program of field research is essential. It is anticipated that the candidate will complement and strengthen departmental interests in primate behavior and conservation, molecular primatology, and evolutionary anthropology. The successful candidate will be affiliated with the Center for the Study of Human Origins and with the New York Consortium in Evolutionary Primatology. Application deadline is November 15, 2010.
