Mercer University School of Medicine, Division of Basic Medical Sciences, invites applications for a salaried, twelve-month, tenure-track position in Human Gross Anatomy at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to excellence in medical education, will teach systems-based humananatomy utilizing cadaver dissection and prosection and will have the opportunity to pursue scholarly activity.

 

Candidates must have a Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent degree from an accredited college/university. Preference will be given to individuals with demonstrated dissection-basedhuman gross anatomy training and medical student teaching experience.

Mercer University School of Medicine Macon campus is located one hour southeast of Atlanta and is a community-based medical school with approximately 350 full- and part-time teaching faculty and 240 medical students. The School's mission is to educate physicians and health professionals to meet the primary care and health care needs of rural and medically underserved areas of Georgia.
