The Department of Archaeology invites applications for a tenure-track position in Bioarchaeology or Physical Anthropology, commencing July 1, 2013. The successful candidate will have an excellent record in research and teaching. Areas of expertise that complement and extend the department’s interests will be preferred. These may include, but are not limited to, the following: human osteology, palaeopathology, forensic anthropology, palaeoanthropology, ancient demography and palaeonutrition.

DEPARTMENT OF ARCHAEOLOGY

Tenure Track

You will be expected to implement an active program of research, contribute to graduate and undergraduate teaching and supervision, and fulfill service responsibilities. The Department of Archaeology has a strong program of research with specific emphasis in North Atlantic archaeology, biomolecular archaeology, subsistence and settlement studies, historic archaeology, ethnoarchaeology, aboriginal studies and archaeological theory.
