Binghamton University, State University of New York (SUNY), Anthropology Department seeks a biological anthropologist for a tenure-track appointment at the Assistant Professor level to begin August 2013. Applicants must have a PhD, demonstrated teaching experience, an active research program, and publications. The areas of expertise within biological anthropology should include bioarchaeology, forensic anthropology, and skeletal biology. Geographic area is open, but linkage with other faculty working in Europe and the Near East, Oceania, or North/South America is desirable.

In addition to offering courses in her/his specific areas of interest, the successful candidate will contribute to teaching core courses for the anthropology department at both the undergraduate and graduate levels as well as the MS program in biomedical anthropology.
