ASU postdoctoral position

A post doc position is available to work among the Turkana on topics related to the evolution of cooperation and morality. The candidate will be located at ASU’s School of Human Evolution and Social Change, and will be part of a vibrant, collaborative team of researchers engaged in understanding the origins of human cognition, culture and cooperation. The position is open to graduates from any discipline who have a strong record of research activity and intellectual engagement in questions relevant to understanding human cooperation. The candidate should be willing to integrate with and contribute substantively to fieldwork being conducted at the Turkana field site on this topic.
Employment can start as early as Sep 1 2014, but start dates until Jan 2015 can be accommodated. The position is on an annual basis and can be renewed yearly for an additional two years if performance is satisfactory and the candidate wishes to continue.
